E-1500 Smart I-V Curve Tracer
The smallest, lightest and fastest I-V curve tracer on the market. Up to 200 curves per hour on modules and strings, bifacial included, with every curve translated to standard test conditions (STC) on the spot.

The E-Ref measures the short-circuit current and open-circuit voltage of a reference module of the same type as the plant's, and delivers irradiance and cell temperature to the SCADA by Modbus, with no further conversion. Versions for monofacial and bifacial modules.

Irradiance comes from the short-circuit current (Isc) and cell temperature from the open-circuit voltage (Voc), by the method of IEC 60904-5: an average of all the cells, not one point on the back of the module. Being of the same technology as the array, the reference module sees the sun as the plant does, a useful complement to the pyranometer.
The module's calibration constants are entered in the E-Ref itself, which sends irradiance, cell temperature, Isc and Voc to the SCADA as Modbus TCP registers over Ethernet and keeps 12 days of history, downloadable from its web server. From version 4.0, its RS-485 port also makes it the datalogger of the meteo station: it reads up to five Modbus devices (pyranometers, reference cells, temperature sensors) and passes their data on to the SCADA through the same Ethernet link.
E-Ref/01 (1 channel): for a monofacial reference module of the plant's own model.
E-Ref/03 (3 channels): for a bifacial reference module split into thirds with vinyl masks (front only, front and rear, rear only), giving irradiance and temperature of each side.

The smallest, lightest and fastest I-V curve tracer on the market. Up to 200 curves per hour on modules and strings, bifacial included, with every curve translated to standard test conditions (STC) on the spot.

Every minute, the E-Dust compares the full I-V curves of two identical modules, one kept clean and one left to soil like the plant, and returns the soiling ratio at the maximum power point, as defined in IEC 61724-1.

Handheld tester for essential safety and commissioning tests on PV systems up to 1500 V DC and 25 A, with I-V curve tracing.
